Ephesus Adventure with village dinner

Explore one of the best-preserved classical cities in the eastern Mediterranean — and arguably the greatest Greco-Roman site in the world – Ephesus, enjoy a tasting of local fruit wine in Şirince village and dine with a local family in their village house’s courtyard.

Day 1 

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cappadocia this morning 3 hours before your flight to Izmir. Once you land at Izmir airport, you will be picked up by your tour guide and will drive to the town of Selcuk, which is the closest town to the ancient site of Ephesus. Head to a local cafeteria where you will watch local ladies making Turkish pancake called ‘Gözleme’. After filling the tummies, visit the last remaining column of the Temple of Artemis, the ancient aqueducts and the 14th-century Isabey Mosque and then Ephesus Museum during your walking tour of Selcuk. 

Next, pay a visit to the famously adorable village of Şirince and enjoy a tasting of local fruit wine. In the late afternoon, after the tourist crowd leaves the site, visit the shops, restaurants, homes and hotspots of magnificent Ephesus. 

In the evening, you will be hosted by a local family in their village house for dinner. Join the local family in lighting the fire-pit and preparing the mezes  for the night.
